This blended whiskey is a tribute to history: a true symbol of freedom guided by people, famous painting by Delacroix. It represents a barricade scene, which has become the symbol of the French spirit, revolutionary, working for an ideal of fraternity and union for freedom.
This scene of the barricades also refers to the history of the Croizet family, or the ancestors of Léopold were sent into exile in Algeria for causing trouble at the barricades.
This exile will be put to good use: they work the land and the vines for several generations
