Kaniché Réserve Rum is part of the Maison Ferrand portfolio of spirits, a brand most known for their cognac. The Kaniché range of rums is distilled exclusively on the island of Barbados, where this Réserve Rum initially ages in casks previously used for bourbon maturation. The rum is then sent to the estate in France, where it finishes in cognac casks.
